Born to a loving family in 19- actually, we'll leave those details for the autobiography... I'm Josh, a passionate web designer and developer proudly based in Leeds, UK.
Professionally, my days are filled with crafting high-quality websites and applications, and in my free time, I continue to do the very same thing because, hey, variety is the spice of life, right?
For the past few years, I've had the privilege of working full-time at a fantastic studio known as Lucky Duck, right here in the heart of Leeds. In addition, I've also been actively involved as a board member for the Leeds United Supporters' Trust, where I've picked up an abundance of skills and experiences that have shape- is anyone actually still reading this? I doubt it. If you were, sorry, you'll just have to wait for the autobiography.
It may be even more of a shock to discover that some of the projects which I've worked on can be found below.
On a portfolio?! I know, shocker - "Why not all of them" - I assume you're asking. It's because I like to keep an air of mystique about myself.

In September 2023, I had the honor of becoming chair of the Leeds United Supporters' Trust. Since 2018, I've served as a board member, working on various projects and accomplishing significant milestones. Notably, I led a complete brand redesign that breathed new life into our image and brand. Additionally, I spearheaded the development of a brand new web presence, enhancing the overall user experience for members and visitors alike.
Furthermore, I played a pivotal role in branding an exhibition that saw thousands of attendees. Throughout these projects, I have been committed to delivering impactful results, and it has been a rewarding journey to contribute to the Trust's growth and success.
In February 2022, Leeds United made the difficult decision to part ways with their revered manager Marcelo Bielsa. In response to this news, I took swift action and built a website over the weekend on behalf of the Leeds United Supporters' Trust to provide fans with a platform to express their gratitude to Marcelo for his contributions to the club. The site allowed fans to leave heartfelt messages, share their submissions, search for other messages, view the submissions of fellow supporters, and report inappropriate content.
The website garnered remarkable attention worldwide, amassing tens of thousands of submissions within a few short days, and gaining international press coverage. To this day, the site stands as a poignant time capsule of the emotions and sentiments surrounding Marcelo Bielsa.
In 2023, Leeds held the prestigious title of UK City of Culture. I had the privilege of serving as the lead developer for the LEEDS2023 web platform, overseeing the development of the marketing site, blog, ticketing platform, account system, and other essential components.
The success of the website was extraordinary, attracting hundreds of thousands of users seamlessly. I'm incredibly proud to have been involved in the project.
From 2018 to 2023, I had the pleasure of being a part of a dynamic web design and development studio in Leeds, Lucky Duck. During my time with Lucky Duck, I worked on a wide variety of projects, each harnessing cutting-edge web technologies.
At Lucky Duck, we embraced innovation and creativity, delivering exceptional digital solutions that pushed the boundaries of web design and development. From captivating websites to interactive web applications, I honed my skills while contributing to a diverse range of projects that left a lasting impact on clients and users alike.
A project built using NextJS, Storyblok CMS and Mapbox, intended to allow people from all over the world experience the Leeds United murals in a 3D space.
During my time at University, I edited together a fake Netflix show based around the Overwatch shorts. It garnered strong public reception with fans and has amassed nearly 10,000 views so far.
During my time at university, I worked on a short 2D platforming game built using JavaScript and web technologies.
